The rail is mounted to the stair treads from the backside of the lift with all fastening hardware virtually out of view.
Remote Control Call/Sends Stair lift upstairs and your downstairs... simply push the button on the remote to bring the lift to you. Your stair lift will come with two remote controls, one for each landing. The remotes can be mounted on the wall or stored in a convenient location for your use. The remote controls use three "AAA" batteries with an range of 25 to 30 feet.
